He means no need to remove the first lambdas (before catalytic converter), usually specialist removes the second lambdas (after catalytic converter) with permanent changing of ecu's program.

 

either delete O2 DTC codes only or deep changing ecu's algorythm for working without them

 

first lambdas are necessary for closed loop fuel management in stoichiometry, that's why only changing for the new one

To change the front O2 sensor you just need to release the jack behind the engine (reach out from under the hood in the gap between the back of the engine and end of hood compartment) and then just unscrew the sensor which is a little tough.

You can't disassemble the catalytic converter but it will be quite hard to get to the sensor itself and it is not an easy task to screw it off.

Yes, that device will read your engine codes, not sure about ABS and transmission though, you have to check on that. But it is definitely a good investment owning a Cadillac

There's usually very little sense to clean front O2 sensors, if they stop working, they are usually broken. Front sensors are 6-band and they are critical to fuel mixture.

Don't see anything here that says it will read ABS and/or tranny. Usually those are much more expensive. Simple ones only read engine codes.
